Any tips on activities I could do to promote my child’s home language learning?

Answer:

Check out your local library where you might be able to find books in your home language to read with your children.

Watching videos and TV shows in your home language will also expose your children to the oral language.

If you know other families with the same cultural background, consider arranging playdates with their kids. Children could watch you using the language with other people and they could have a go practising it with their peers.
